Plain magnetic nanoparticles

MagP® are plain superparamagnetic core-shell nanoparticles (≈180 nm) in which the shell is based on a plain crosslinked vinyl polymer matrix.

Highlights

MagP® are specially recommended for high protein loading in a variety of immobilisation applications including RIA (radioimmunoassay) and immunoassays. Biomolecules can be loaded onto the bead’s surface by way of hydrophobic adsorption.

Since MagP®-Particles are porous and have a high surface area, high-protein loading is possible.
